I’m Sumayyah, and this little corner of the internet is where I share reflections on faith, creativity, everyday life, and the things I’m learning along the way. You’ll also find poems, stories, and the occasional craft project as I explore my many, many hobbies.
I’m a firm believer that small, consistent actions can have a profound impact over time, and this blog is my attempt to document those small moments as they happen.
I wanted to create my own space to encourage myself to share my musings with others. I have journaled for several years and found it so transformative. Writing is always something I’ve been drawn to and something I greatly enjoy.
Illness is something that has played a huge part of my life and writing, creativity and faith were the ways I healed. I wanted to share my hobbies and joyful moments, but I cannot share the trueness of my good moments without accepting that they are rooted in sadness.
